Throughout this interactive and discussion-based workshop, the following would be covered: 

  • What is sexual harassment – Legal definition. Types of sexual harassment and the intent and impact of sexual harassment
  • The law and employer responsibilities – Protected characteristics. Employers responsibilities. Consequences
  • Workplace culture – Psychological safety. Banter. Impact on others
  • Grey areas! – Share scenarios of common situations that could be considered sexual harassment
  • Impact of sexual harassment – Personal and emotional impact. Link to poor mental health. Career impact. Team morale and productivity. Why it’s not reported. Stigma
  • Reporting concern – Intervene safely/reporting concerns. Confidentuality. Support available. Supporting colleagues
