International mental wellbeing programme

 

This programme will help the delegates understand mental wellbeing in a global context with Core topics and pre-selected optional topics to enhance the learning experience. 

Topics are made up of engaging facilitated discussions, practical activities,  use of group break-out rooms, videos, theory and models.

 

Timings: 

  • Core topics = 2 hours 50 minutes of delivery. 
  • Breaks = 1 hour (2 x 15 mins plus 30 minutes for lunch) 
  • Or, split the training over 2 days (3 hours each day – allow for a 15 mintue break halfway through

 

Core topics (these must be delivered) 

  • Welcome and introductions- 30 mins
  • Introduction to mental health and wellbeing in a global context – 20 mins
  • Workplace stress – 30 mins
  • Recognising signs of distress and poor mental health – 20 mins
  • Having a supportive conversation – 60 mins

Optional topics:  To select 2 hours 10 minutes of relevant topics to your organisation  

  • Mental Health conditions/disorders- 30 mins
  • Cultural differences and perspectives of mental health – 40 mins
  • Manager’s role and responsibility – 60 mins
  • Maslow’s hierarchy of needs – 20 mins
  • Remote team working – 20 mins
  • Burnout- 20 mins
  • Developing personal resilience – 20 mins
  • Trauma awareness – 20 mins
  • Crisis Management – Suicide – 30 mins
  • Supporting employees affected by conflict – 50 mins
